Hydroxo B12 60 lozenges | Seeking Health
Key Benefits and Actions*
• Non-methyl form of B12
• May help support healthy brain function*
• May help support healthy detoxification pathways*
• May help support healthy energy levels*
Vitamin B12 is required for proper red blood cell formation, neurological function, and DNA synthesis. Vitamin B12 functions as a cofactor for methionine synthase and L-methylmalonyl-CoA mutase. Unlike cyanocobalamin, which consists of cobalamin (B12) attached to a cyanide molecule, hydroxocobalamin does not contain any potentially harmful compounds that require additional processing for safe removal from the body. Hydroxocobalamin readily converts to methylcobalamin, an active “coenzyme” form of B12, without introducing additional methyl groups for “overmethylators” or those who are sensitive to methylated B vitamins.*
