Plenus | Sanesco
Sanesco's newest addition to the Targeted Nutritional Therapy product line is a unique formulation designed to help manage hormonal effects at the hypothalamus' appetite control center. Give your patients the control they need to maintain their weight loss goals with this neuro-endocrine approach to managing satiety.
Satiety is defined as the feeling of satisfied after a meal. Plenus ingredients work to induce the feeling of gratification earlier in the meal, leading to less intake of food. Plenus may be used wherever appetite control is needed. Plenus’ ingredients function in a variety of ways to effect higher levels of satiety.
Garcitrin is from the plant Garcinia cambogia, also known as Brindall Berry. Garcitrin is standardized for 50% hydroxycitric acids and 5% garcinol as a calcium salt. Studies have demonstrated appetite control and weight loss with Garcitrin. Slimaluma is a trademarked ingredient from the succulent Caralluma fimbriata, a relative of Hoodia gordonii. Historical use as well as current studies demonstrate lessening of appetite and increased satiety. Slendesta (Potato Extract) works to increase CCK, a gastric peptide that slows stomach emptying and thus promotes satiety.
Those key ingredients are supported by PEA for a natural release of norepinephrine, dopamine, and endorphins contributing to the sensation of being satisfied. PEA, a metabolite of D-phenylalanine, is considered an endogenous amphetamine. It can stimulate dopamine release, which is associated with loss of appetite.
