The Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet, developed by Stanley Burroughs, is used to help detoxify and heal the body. Our enhancements make it better.

Let me start by saying that I have done the Master Cleanse Diet many times, following the instructions of Stanley Burroughs, since 1981. I think it is a wonderful program for cleansing and detoxify but with problems. It was developed at a time when there was much less information available then we have today. Now, with the help of nutritional science and homeopathy, it can be significantly improved.:

While there are many benefits we have found there are also problems which can be corrected.

Problems & Solutions

Too sweet.
Using 2 Tablespoons of maple syrup 6-12 times daily is a huge amount of pure sugar. Given that the vast majority of Americans suffer from blood sugar fluctuations we recommend cutting the dose in half.

We recommend 1 tablespoon of maple syrup per serving.
Insufficient opening of detox organs.
Detoxification is a complex process and requires that the detox pathways be open. This means that the liver, kidney and lymphatics need to be open. While the Master Cleanser does not really address this very well the addition of the Pekana Homeopathic Basic Detox Kit does this very well.

We recommend adding 20 drops of each of these homeopathic remedies (apo-Hepat, Renelix & Itires) added to other drinks 2 to 3 times daily.
Bowel and Liver Cleansing.
Again the Lemonaide diet is deficient. Although it reconnects salt water flushes it does little to actually cleanse the colon other then running some water through it. In addition it does little for detox of the liver. To accomplish this we recommend doing coffee enema's during the cleanse. The coffee enema is famous for rapid deep cleansing of the liver and colon.

We Recommend doing a Coffee Enema daily.
