Herbal GI - 90 vcaps Gastrointestinal Formula Herbal GI provides a combination of synergistic herbs known for their ability to reduce irritation, pain and inflammation, and for their healing effect on the mucosal lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Studies show that inflammatory bowel diseases are due to stress, genetic predisposition, bacterial, parasitic and viral infections, a diet which is high in refined sugar and allergenic foods, and a low intake of dietary fiber. Herbal GI is indicated for conditions associated with irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn's disease, including ulcerative colitis, spastic colon, anal polyps, diarrhea and flatulence; and for stomach and duodenal ulcers. The capsules in this formula are from a vegetable source making it suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
