Background
Flaxseed (linseed) oil is a rich source of the omega-3 fatty acids, especially alpha linolenic acid (ALA) which is an essential fatty acid.

The omega-3 fatty acids are essential for many biochemical functions within the human body.

DriCelle ALA 1000 contains micellised, cold-pressed oil from organically grown linseed. The body has the capability to convert ALA to the other omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, which are normally found in fish oil.
