DL Phenylalanine w/ B-6 - Known as the "pain" or "stress" amino acid, D,L-Phenylalanine is a 50/50 combination of the D and L forms. The D form converts readily to the L form in the liver. D, L-Phenylalanine also has the important ability to block enzymes that break down hormones, endorphins and enkephalins, that help control pain.
