CardioMetabolic Profile I -
Assesses risks associated with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Tests in this profile include: Insulin, high sensitivity C-Reactive Protein, Hemoglobin A1c, Triglycerides.

ZRT Laboratory is pleased to announce the new and improved CardioMetabolic Profile I in blood spot. The new test now includes total and LDL cholesterol in addition to other major markers of heart and metabolic diseases. The test can provide reliable predictive values for determining overall cardiometabolic risk, when accompanied by clinical assessment.
 
In explaining the new test, ZRT’s CEO/President, David Zava, PhD, commented: “More and more of the medical providers we work with recognize that high cholesterol and LDL levels become even more significant in patients who already have diabetes, heart problems or other risk factors of cardiometabolic disease. Including these important cholesterol readings in our new profile is another progressive step in our development of innovative applications through blood spot testing.”
