BP Support Maintains Blood Pressure Already in Normal Range BP Support offers an innovative and comprehensive approach to maintaining healthy blood pressure already in a normal range. Unlike other blood pressure products which may affect a single metabolic pathway, BP Support targets multiple pathways involved in blood pressure regulation, including endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), the enzyme that produces nitric oxide, and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE). Nitric oxide plays a major role in mediating blood vessel relaxation and supporting healthy platelet function. ACE stimulates production of the peptide hormone angiotensin II, which is also a critical determinant of vascular tone. Increased NOS activity and decreased ACE activity is associated with relaxed blood vessels and cardiovascular health. Polyphenol-rich foods like grape seeds have been shown to support healthy NOS activity and maintain cardiovascular health. BP Support features a patent pending grape seed extract clinically shown to modulate blood pressure. It is prepared using a proprietary solvent-free extraction process which optimizes these clinically studied effects. The addition of a grape juice extract provides a blend of proanthocyanins and anthocyanins which is similar to the ratio found in whole grapes. Tri-peptides produced during the fermentation of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria species of probiotic bacteria have been shown to modulate ACE. They also have a positive effect on cholesterol ester transfer protein (CETP) which plays a key role in maintaining healthy blood levels of HDL cholesterol. BP Support contains Futurenatant™, a unique vegetable based fermentation of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria which preclinical research has revealed to have a significant modulatory effect on ACE. Two herbs widely recognized for their ability to support heart health, hawthorn and motherwort, complement the enzyme-supportive actions of the grape seed extract and Futurenatant, providing a uniquely effective blood pressure product.
