Description
Artemisinin Gel - contains artemisinin and includes additional ingredients to facilitate absorption and effectiveness. Formulated to provide a convenient way to utilize artemisinin topically, and can be used in combination with Item Artemisinin. Artemisinin Gel contains artemisinin, or Qinghaosu, the active constituent of the herb Artemisia annua (sweet wormwood). Artemisinin Gel contains artemisinin in a concentrated suspension, and includes a driving agent to facilitate absorption and effectiveness.* Although to date no studies have been done on the use of artemisinin formulations on skin surfaces, preliminary clinical observations suggest it may be of value. Oral artemisinin has been thoroughly investigated. Good quality Artemisia annua contains 0.3-0.5% artemisinin, so pure artemisinin provides hundreds of times more activity than the whole herb itself. Our artemisinin has had independent cell tests verifying its effectiveness, and we do independent potency assays on every batch, using HPLC. In addition, we have received excellent feedback from numerous practitioners who utilize our Artemisinin capsules in their practice.
